Oh what a night

The babies are doing great this morning. They were checked out by the pediatrician and all is well! Currently they're sleeping side by side making cute little baby whimpers. They each have had their first dirty diaper too! I was informed by the pediatrician it would not be their last!

Mommy and daddy are doing okay. We were able to get about an hour and a half of sleep last night. Not much! The kids didn't like to sleep anywhere but in our arms. Hard to be upset at that though. They were wide awake a few times last night and it was amazing to see them study their surroundings. It figures that they have slept soundly most of the morning!

We're going to meet with a lactation specialist today to make sure everything is going well. We've had a couple of successful feedings already, but the last few have been a little difficult. The nurse said if you get one good feeding in the first 24 hours your doing fine, so we're not too worried.

That's it for now. Back to daddy chores.

Chris

Wow, it sounds like you guys are doing great! The lack of sleep WILL catch up with you sooner or later. We're very happy for your little "Blessings". Amanda, I can't believe you kept them in the oven as long as you did. Hang in there, together. You need each other more now than ever.
May God continue to reveal His plan to you,

Hi Amanda and Chris,
We so enjoyed our 2 hours with you and the twins yesterday and left feeling touched beyond belief. It is so amazing that this is all happening to you. You look radiant and natural with your new babies, Amanda. Loved visiting with you and being with Mom and Persilla for a short time. We are so connected and it feels good. We are able to transfer photos from your blog to our desktop where there is a file for just the twins. We hope you have another great week and more fun ahead. Love Kathy and Fred
